2024 Scholarship Application

Petaluma Woman's Club

The Petaluma Woman’s Club is offering five $1000 Scholarships to high school students who identify as female and will graduate in the Spring of 2024 from a Petaluma public, private or alternative high school — Petaluma, Casa Grande, St. Vincent’s, San Antonio, Carpe Diem, Sonoma Mountain, Valley Oaks and Headwaters Academy.

Scholarship applicants are to submit two documents: a completed 2024 Scholarship Application; and a letter of recommendation by a person who knows you well but is not a member of your family.

How to submit your application:

  1. Read these instructions thoroughly.
  2. Click HERE to download the 2024 Scholarship Application form.  If you do not have Microsoft Word, you can upload the .doc into your Google drive through New>File Upload.
  3. Complete the application.  Do not include any pictures or other content except for the text of your answer.
  4. Copy and paste the completed application into an email with subject line  “PWC Scholarship”.
  5. Attach your letter of recommendation to your email.
  6. Send the email to scholarship@petalumawomansclub.com.

When we have received your application and letter of recommendation we will email you a confirmation.

Applications must be submitted by February 29, 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

All scholarship applicants will be notified in March 2024. Scholarship recipients and their parents will be invited to our Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 and recipients will be recognized at our Thursday April 18, 2024 PWC dinner meeting.

The Scholarship Committee rates the candidates objectively on their accomplishments, their career goals, their desire to give back or make a contribution to the community, their country, and/or the world, their track record of community involvement and their financial needs.

Scholarships are awarded through the Petaluma Woman’s Club Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)3 California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation.
