Petaluma Woman's Club was a really wonderful venue for our memorial with about 30 guests. We thought at first that the space might feel too big for a smaller gathering, but the natural light through their beautiful windows made it feel cozy and warm. The staff were kind and helpful, and Donna, the event coordinator, was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I really appreciated how smooth they made everything during a difficult time. Recently held my mother's 90th birthday party at the PWC and I could not have been happier! It was so easy to work with Donna at the club and everything was smooth on the day of the party. We did bring in our own linens and napkins for the table, but the china and silver that the club owns is perfectly adequate. One thing: hate the folding chairs. We used this venue for a recent party and would definitely recommend it to others! The room has a warm, inviting feel to it. Donna was very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the planning process. The Petaluma Woman's Club was the ideal venue for family and friends to gather for my mother's Celebration of Life.  Club representatives were wonderful throughout the process.  I was delighted to arrive and find tables and chairs in place as I requested. We had our daughter's debut celebration at the Petaluma Woman's Club (PWC) on Dec 20th. The PWC is a wonderful place to have an event. It is a beautiful historic venue that has an elegant feel.  

The main room was large enough to accommodate our 146 guests and a dance floor. The spacious kitchen allowed us to chill our drinks, keep our food warm and pre-slice the cake. 

I booked PWC a year in advance and Donna was helpful throughout the process. Beth was kind enough to let us tour the venue several times as we were finalizing the details. Zach met with me towards the end of our celebration and was friendly.

We feel very fortunate that the PWC had a weekend opening for our event, which was a Memorial for a dear friend and colleague. It was the perfect venue for our 80+ attendees, a warm and inviting space in which to honor and celebrate.  The ancillary room off the main hall was perfect for food and beverages. Having PWC do table and chairs set up was very useful; as was the use of the rolling carts; the sound system was adjustable and flawless; the screen well sized for our video and slideshow tributes.  We added our own tablecloths and floral arrangements, to add colors and textures, and what got created within this architectural gem was truly memorable for all. Plus a very reasonable price, plus-plus working with friendly and helpful PWC staff, our thanks and highest recommendation to PWC.

OMGOSH! My husband's Celebration of Life was perfect. The building is so beautiful and inviting. Love its history. The amenities offered are great, kitchen great, sound system great, easy access with rolling carts, guests with mobility issues maneuvered easily. My husband and I got married at the Petaluma Woman's Club last weekend and it was a picture perfect event! 

We found working with Donna, Beth and the other ladies to be pleasant and smooth. They were very patient answering all our questions and provided a beautiful experience. 

The Club has padded folding chairs (which we put covers on) and comfortably seats around 100 guests for an event like our reception.

We did have a little overflow during the ceremony, so had a few people seated just outside the Fireside Room. We then had the chairs moved to the tables for the reception. 

Some things that made this a great event: 

 Separate Bride and Groom dressing rooms upstairs (the Bride's room is huge; the Groom's room is big enough)

 Plates and utensils are included; we had to rent drinking glasses and wine glasses as well as serve ware for our caterers 

 While there was a snafu with the climate control (it was set to 82 on a nearly 90 degree day), it was fairly quickly rectified 

  Plenty of restrooms, including an ADA-compliant one 

 The integrated sound system worked really well. The music during both the ceremony and reception (including karaoke) sounded GREAT! 

There was some confusion around what was available in the commercial kitchen, but we resolved that as well.

A perfect event space--spacious, well-equipped, and so easy to work with! We hosted a welcome party for about 100 guests the night before our daughter's wedding, and the Petaluma Women's Club was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of room for seating, dancing, food stations, and a bartender. We projected a slideshow, played music from our phones over their sound system, and had no trouble making it all come together.

The kitchen was ideal for our caterers, and renting the nearby church parking lot made load-in simple. The club staff was responsive, helpful, and made everything run smoothly. Would absolutely recommend for weddings or special events in the area.

In December, we had our employee holiday party at the Petaluma Woman’s Club. Planning this event with them was a wonderful experience. The communication from the beginning was wonderful and fast, and when we had questions, we received clear and quick responses. The day of the event was made very easy on our team because they set up all the tables and chairs we needed (based on a diagram that we filled out, which they provided). All we had to worry about was our table decorations while we waited for the caterer we had hired. The venue is beautiful, with a great variety of resources (the speaker system was great!), and it has plenty of street parking. We are very excited to use this space for the same party next year. Our family rented the PWC clubhouse for a Celebration of Life event, hosting about 50 people.  We found the historic clubhouse to be a quaint and ample space with many amenities.  The microphone was easy to use, as was the sound system (just plug your iphone into the sound system & seamlessly play your Spotify playlists).  The kitchen was large and well equipped, and bathrooms were sparkling clean. The AC was adequate for a summer gathering.
Special thanks to Donna for her kind & helpful demeanor throughout email communications prior to the event.  We would consider renting the PWC clubhouse again.

We rented the Petaluma Women’s Club for a pre-wedding welcome event with about 100 guests, and it was an ideal venue. The space comfortably fit our group with room for seating, dancing, and food from two caterers, plus a bartender setup. We were able to project a slideshow and play music from our phones using the club’s sound system—everything worked smoothly.

The kitchen access was great for our caterers, especially with easy parking and loading from the church lot behind the club, which was simple to rent separately from the church. PWC is the perfect venue in town for just about any event. It's a beautiful, Craftsman style building located in a very nice  neighborhood just on the edge of historic downtown. The staff/volunteers at PWC are all very helpful and will make sure that your event goes as smooth as possible!
